That's When My God Steps In

There have been many times in my life when God has seemed to be asleep or maybe distracted by the needs of others and He has not heard my desperate prayers for His intervention.  In my head, I know that He can be none of these things.  We sang this song in choir at church recently and the words sum it all up!

That's When My God Steps In

When there's nothing but trouble on every side, and it's so dark I can't remember the light.

I pray to find an answer; but there's no way out.

When I've seen the worst and my world's upside down,

That's when God steps in, over and over again.

When it looks like that all hope is gone in my life,

That's when God steps in. When I've reached the end,

He finds a new way for me to begin,

That's when my God steps in.

I don't know why He's waiting taking His time; but His thoughts are so much higher than mine.

He knows the perfect moment for my world to change.

When it seems too late, He puts all things in place.

That's when God steps in, over and over again.

He finds a new way for me to begin,

That's when my God steps in.

When I'm down to nothing, He's up to something, working behind the scenes planning my victory.
