On Thursday June 6th 2013 we had a record rainstorm. Driving home was a challenge because there are several places on 501N that have some drainage issues and my little Kia Sportage was making wakes that splashed over the windshield and roof. But You, Lord, kept me safe and got me home!
After I drove in and parked the car and went in the house, Dick said he had not gotten the mail because of the rain. Since it had let up some and I already had my raincoat on, I walked out to the driveway to go get it. There- right where I would have driven and where I would be walking was a big limb that had fallen out of the Oak tree at the corner of the drive by the house.
