We have not had the best pereformance from lawnmowers in the past few years. We bought a new mower and it worked for one season...well almost one season before it just would not run anymore.
The next year we boufght another mower and the same things has been happening. We have been blessed to be able to borrow neighbor's mowers, and to have a neighbor who volunteered to mow the hard part of the back lawn with his rider.
Then we were given a rider by Lance. I went from taking 3 days, 1.5 hrs a day to mow, to being able to get the whole lawn mowed in an hour. It worked great on cutting up and blowing the leaves in the Fall. Then one day Tommy went to mow and the mower would not start because the starter and flywheel had teeth missing. He finally got it to start and the blades seized up and the mower was useless.
Thanks be to God, we still had the little one and it finally decided to work!
This spring, the little mower still worked...no small miracle! Lance gave us his mother-in-law's self propelled mower! The mower worked and has a bigger cut! Hallelujah! However; the cable to release the s-p part would nto disengage and the "self-propelled" part did not work either. It had a leaky gas tank that had been "mended" but still leaked. We ordered a new belt and Dad and I put that on- fixing the s-p part!
